2nd Annual Obesity & Cardiometabolic Innovation Forum

The 2nd Annual OCIF is taking place on the 5th of June at the Royal Sonesta New Orleans. The event precedes the American Diabetes Association’s (ADA's) 2026 Scientific Sessions, with virtual meetings scheduled for the 16th - 17th of June. The physical programme consists of panels and keynotes taking place in the South Ballroom, which will be made available on demand for virtual participants from the 16th of June. Additionally, there are pre-arranged in-person meetings, up to 15 live and on-demand company showcases, and a reception in the evening.  

On the Event Portal, you have access to all the information related to the event. In the navigation bar on the left, you can see all the event’s tabs, including the agenda, FAQ, venue details, link to your networking account, list of attendees and investors, as well as speakers, presenters, sponsors, and supporters’ profiles. When you click on the tab ‘PRESENTERS’ you will be able to view companies with their profiles.  

To access your Online Meeting System Account, please click on the ‘NETWORKING’ tab. Once you click on the button ‘MY ACCOUNT’, a new window will open where you can manage your schedule, message participants, plan meetings, and connect with others during the event. The in-person meetings will take place on the 5th of June, while virtual meetings will take place on the 16th – 17th of June. For the virtual meetings, the system will allow you to have a secure audio/video call, as well as an option to present slides using a screen share function, and in-person meetings will take place in the North Ballroom. Should you have any queries about your schedule, the Sachs team situated by the registration table is available for your assistance. 

The registration desk opens at 7:30 AM (CDT) on the 5th of June. The programme begins at 8:30 AM (CDT). For on-site registration, we ask you to present a photo ID. There will be a networking lunch, reception, and coffee stations set up in the rooms throughout the event. For wireless internet connection, please connect to ‘Sonesta_Conference’ network using password ‘Sonesta2026’.
